This notice constitutes public notice of the upcoming Annual General Meeting of Antrobus Village Hall Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The meeting will be held in the Village Hall, on Wednesday 14 May at 7.30pm. All members of the area of Antrobus of the age 18 and upwards are entitled to attend and have the right to vote on the appointment of trustees.
Anyone wishing to be considered as a Trustee can be proposed by a resident of Antrobus. Notice of the proposal should be given to the CIO between 14 and 35 clear days before the date of the AGM. The notice needs to be signed by an inhabitant of Antrobus; it needs to state the person’s intention to propose the election of the new trustee; it needs certain details of the proposed trustee (name, residential address, DOB and email address. The notice can be submitted to the CIO at info@antrobusvillagehall.com

Business of the meeting:
1. To receive the annual report of the charity trustees, give an account of the work of the CIO during the year and to receive the accounts of the CIO for the year ended 31 March 2024.
2. To elect persons to serve as charity trustees from 8 May (see below for details of nominated persons)
3. For the members of the CIO to appoint auditors in accordance with the Charities Act 2011.

There are no trustees required to step down under Cl 10.1 (‘three year rule’).
